Since freedom of speech is one of the freedoms we as Americans cherish and since editors of newspapers do not publish all the letters they receive, we wanted to provide those who support Donna another opportunity to make their thoughts known of what, in their minds, makes Donna the clear choice to represent those of us that live in House District 52.  The following are some letters written by those around the district.  Thank you for supporting Donna!

With the November election coming are you thinking it’s time for “out with the old and in with the new?” Has my current Representative taken time to listen to my concerns and actually tried to address them in the House? Has my Representative even asked me my concerns? Incumbents, after serving several terms, often become less responsive to the desires of the voters. In addition, many have established their own agendas which don’t reflect those of their constituents. If that’s the case a fresh, yet experienced candidate can be your solution. Donna Walter, candidate for the 52nd CO House District (East Fort Collins) has been listening to the voters in the 52nd District for several years as a candidate for this office. She knows your concerns and stands ready to represent all voters. Please vote for Donna Walter for 52nd House District. She has experience advancing voter concerns.

Traveling the 2 lane stretch of I-25 from Fort Collins to Longmont and back is terribly congested and definitely not safe. Our legislature has underfunded statewide road and bridge infrastructure for years and this is one result. This year’s legislative solution is to add a third lane in each direction which is desperately needed, but wait, it will be a toll road. What? You say. That’s not fair!! Why does Fort Collins and Northern Colorado have to pay a toll for the 3rd lane? If you live in CO House District 52 (East Fort Collins) you can thank your current Representative for that. Donna Walter, candidate for the 52nd House District, agrees with you that it’s not fair and she wants to change that. Donna is experienced in legislative matters and works well with both political parties. Please vote for Donna so she can best represent you on this critical I-25 matter.

Donna Walter, candidate for HD 52 (east Fort Collins) is a strong supporter of the rule of law in the United States. She believes that the existing immigration laws should be followed at all times. Do you think illegal immigrants should be given a purple card so they can be employed, yet the fact they are an illegal immigrant should remain confidential? Donna’s opponent Joann Ginal does. Can you imagine, illegal immigrants getting a card to be employed yet their illegal status is confidential? Joann Ginal was a Cosponsor of HB18-1230: Creation of Work Status for Immigrants which proposed just that. This bill would violate the EVerify requirement for employers to complete an I-9 for each new employee to verify citizenship. Fortunately, the bill was killed in the Senate. Please vote for Donna Walter on your mail in ballot. She will always be a strong supporter of the rule of law regarding immigration.

I am writing to encourage the folks living on the east side of Fort Collins to vote for Donna Walter for House District 52. I first met Donna when she ran in 2014, and I was so impressed by her message that I supported her in 2016 and am supporting her again.

Donna has worked in the natural healthcare field for 30 years and is credentialed as a Board Certified Naturopathic Clinician. She has a scientific mind and is always looking for the why behind a problem. Her instinct is to first understand a problem before throwing money at it. A good listener, Donna keeps an open mind but will not depart from her principles.

She has extensive experience at the state legislature as a citizen advocate for a variety of liberty issues including alternative healthcare, homeschooling, small businesses, and the right to self-defense. She will hit the ground running as a state legislature due to this experience.

If you would like to know more about Donna’s campaign and her positions on the issues, check her out at donnawalter.com or on Facebook. You won’t find a harder-working gal. She is not beholden to any special interests and plans to serve you, not the political establishment.  She will be your voice in Denver. Vote for Donna Walter!
